On October 19, The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Eduard Aghajanyan took part in the session of the IPA CIS Budget Oversight Commission in the Tavricheskiy Palace of Saint Petersburg, where members of the national parliaments and representatives of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat attended.

The First Deputy Chair of the IPA CIS Committee on Budget and Financial Markets of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Yelena Perminova moderated the sitting.

Issues related to the current financing of the IPA CIS, the budget formation and implementation of the Assembly were included in the agenda of the Budget Oversight Commission.

Issues of the adoption of the laws on the state budget of the next planning period in the IPA CIS member state and the financial support of the working programme of the Assembly for 2022 were discussed. The draft decisions of the IPA CIS Council on the financial activities of the Assembly were touched upon.
